achieves more than expected

We are located about 20km outside of Innisfail in far North Queensland, putting us well beyond the reach of landline-based high speed internet access.

We found that satellite access was affected by rain... and hence seasonally unreliable. It is also quite expensive compared to 3G.

When we found that we had weak 3G signal and wanted to get the best antenna for the circumstances, we turned to Maxon. They recommended this Unity Gain antenna.

Access speeds rose significantly, prompting several inquiries from staff about getting a system for their home.

Ross had commented that this model would pull the 3G signal down to us. I was doubtful that this was an apt description but we were quite certain that we would get better reception with a better antenna.

He was right. We now have mobile phones ringing in the office where we didn't before.

I recommend Maxon.
